About this call

The American Dialect Society’s 2027 annual meeting invites 20-minute papers, in-person posters, and innovative panels about languages and dialects of North America and the Caribbean Basin. It also welcomes work on lexicography, linguistic atlases, linguistic landscapes, language and society, and public language awareness. Presenters must be current society members, and selected students and a society member may apply for travel grants.
