What is Worth the Pitch?
Worth the Pitch finds calls for speakers that fit your expertise, scores each one from 0 to 100 against your profile, and drafts a proposal that answers the conference's actual application form. It also tracks your submissions, fees, and follow-ups. Read more
Where do the opportunities come from?
We search the public web and trusted event feeds for calls for speakers and calls for proposals. We honor each site's robots.txt, identify our crawler, merge duplicate listings of the same event, and hide calls once their deadline passes. You can also paste a link to any call with Add & score.
How often do my matches update?
Matches refresh automatically every 6 hours and right after you change your profile. You can also click Check for new matches on the Matches tab at any time. Read more
Is it free?
Yes, the Free plan costs nothing and needs no card. It includes 8 AI-scored matches per refresh, 1 proposal draft a month, and your pipeline. Paid plans start at $29 a month. Read more
What does the match score mean?
It is a 0 to 100 fit score based on your topics, audiences, credentials, location, compensation, strategic goals, and the deadline. Each match shows the reasons, strengths, and points to consider. Your Minimum match score decides which calls appear. Read more
Will Worth the Pitch submit proposals for me?
You review every draft and submit it yourself on the conference's site. Guided apply makes that quick by walking you through the form one field at a time with Copy & next. Read more
Can it fill in a specific conference's form?
Yes. The Proposal studio follows the call's submission link, reads the application form, and drafts an answer for every field in order. It reads Google Forms, HubSpot forms, Quickbase, and standard web forms, and picks exact options for dropdowns. Read more
What if the form needs a login?
Portals such as Sessionize, Whova, and Cvent ask you to sign in first. Sign in yourself, press Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C on the form page, and paste it into the Proposal studio. We read the fields from what you paste. Read more
Does it respect word and character limits?
Yes. Each answer is written to fit the field's limit, and a live counter shows words and characters as you edit. The counter turns red if you go over. Read more
Will it make up credentials or experience?
No. Drafts use only the facts in your profile and talk library, written in your voice. If something matters to an organizer, add it to your profile first. Read more
What is a speaker page?
A free public page at worththepitch.com/s/your-name with your bio, headshot, topics, and signature talks, plus an Invite to speak form. Inquiries arrive in your Inbox tab. Read more
How do I get listed in the speaker directory?
Turn on List me in the Speaker directory box on your Profile tab and complete the checklist. Listings are reviewed for quality. Growth and Pro members are featured. Read more
How do I cancel, and what happens after?
Open the Plans tab and click Cancel plan, or use Manage billing. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you paid for, and you can reactivate before then. Read more
How is my data handled, and can I export it?
You can download everything we store about you as a JSON file from Settings, and schedule account deletion from the same card. Payments run through Stripe or PayPal, so card details never touch our servers. Read more
Can a bureau, coach, or team manage several speakers?
Yes. The Pro plan supports up to 10 speaker profiles on one account. Add speakers from the sidebar and switch between them, each with their own matches, talks, and proposals. Read more
I organize an event. Can I list my call for speakers?
Yes, listing a call is free. Submit it at worththepitch.com/submit-cfp.php and it can appear in our open calls directory and in matching speakers' results.
Can I browse open calls without an account?
Yes. The open calls directory at worththepitch.com/calls lists current calls for speakers. Create a free account to get them scored against your profile.
