About Miss
An emerging legal and international affairs professional, Bole Mireille focuses on the intersection of public international law, human rights and global affairs. Her interests span human-rights advocacy, child protection, women’s and girls’ rights, legal research and youth engagement. She is particularly interested in the gap between rights recognized on paper and people’s ability to enjoy those rights in practice. Beyond her studies, she is building Global Voices for Change (GVC), a youth-led community intended to create space for young people to discuss global issues and exchange perspectives. She hopes the community will eventually develop educational and advocacy initiatives, and she is interested in public speaking and community initiatives.
