About this call
The Pacific Coast Branch of the American Historical Association invites proposals for its 120th annual meeting, themed “Empires and Urban Spaces.” It welcomes presentations on any historical subject, especially work connecting empire and urbanization across time and place. Historians and other history practitioners may propose panels, workshops, roundtables, seminars, or individual papers. Accepted graduate student presenters will receive information about applying for competitive travel subventions.
