South Dakota Humanities Council Speakers Bureau

The South Dakota Humanities Council keeps a roster of scholars, Chautauqua performers and discussion leaders that communities book through council grants. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with August 1 as the annual cutoff for the roster year starting November 1. Scholars receive a stipend paid directly by the council plus travel reimbursement.

This program takes applications year-round and pays presenters.
