Mississippi Humanities Council Speakers Bureau

The Mississippi Humanities Council lists accepted speakers in an online catalog that libraries, museums, schools and community groups use to book free public lectures. Scholars apply by downloading and submitting the speaker application form, and the council responds within eight weeks. The council pays $300 per lecture for up to six lectures per fiscal year.

This program takes applications year-round and pays presenters.
