Checked for recent episodes
We read each show's public RSS feed for the last episode date, publishing rhythm, episode count and recent titles. Shows that go quiet for about four months are closed automatically.
A fit score for each show
Each show gets a 0 to 100 score for your expertise against its recent episodes, its listeners against your audiences, and whether it interviews guests. Shows that charge guests a fee score lowest on compensation.
A pitch email with episode ideas
Draft pitch writes an episode title, a short subject line, a 120 to 180 word email in your voice, three listener takeaways, two alternative episode angles and a guest bio the host can read on air.
Grounded in real episodes
The pitch refers to recent episodes by their real titles and uses only the credentials in your profile. It leaves out audience numbers, rankings and any claim that you already listen to the show.

Open the pitch in your email app or Gmail, or copy it, and send it yourself. Replies come straight back to you. When a show uses a guest form, you get a link to its guest page instead.

In your profile under Logistics & fees, tick Podcast guest spots. We plan searches from your industries, audiences and topics.

Review matched shows
Use the Podcasts filter in Matches. Each card shows the host, the last episode, how often the show publishes, recent episode titles and a Worth Check verdict.
- 03
Draft your pitch
Click Draft pitch. Edit the subject line and email, and the preview updates as you type. Two alternative episode angles sit below the email if you want a different hook.

Send it and track the reply
Send the email from your own address, then click Mark pitched. A copy of what you sent is saved in your pipeline with a follow-up date.

Questions, answered
Do podcasts pay guests?
Podcast interviews are usually unpaid. They appear in your matches whether or not Consider unpaid opportunities is ticked. You can turn podcast matches on or off as a whole with the Podcast guest spots box in your profile.
Are these interviews remote?
Yes. Every podcast match is marked as a remote interview, so your travel settings do not affect them.
Does Worth the Pitch send the pitch for me?
You send it yourself. Open the draft in your email app or Gmail, or copy it, and it goes out from your own address. Hosts reply to you directly, and you keep full control of every message.
Where does the host's email address come from?
We use an address only when the show's guest page explicitly asks for pitches there. Contact emails inside podcast feeds are administrative, so we never use them for pitches. When a show takes guests through a form, the card links to its guest page.
What if a show has stopped publishing?
Each card shows when the last episode came out. A show with no new episode in more than 90 days gets a Quiet show verdict, and a show silent for about four months is closed and drops out of your matches.
Can I add a podcast I found myself?
Yes. Paste the link to a show's guest page in the box on the Matches tab. We read it, check the feed, score your fit and let you draft a pitch the same way.
