The Proposal studio writes a proposal built for one specific conference. It reads that conference's application form and drafts an answer for every field, in order.

Draft your proposal

  1. On the Matches tab, click Draft proposal on any match card. You can also start from the Apply this week board.
  2. The Proposal studio opens and shows "Reading the conference's application form." We follow the call's submission link, up to two hops, to find the real form.
  3. When the form is found, the heading shows how many fields it has, for example "12 fields, matched to the conference's form."
  4. Optional: type guidance in Instructions for the AI. Examples: "Emphasize practical examples" or "Target a 45-minute breakout."
  5. Click Generate draft. When it finishes, you see "Draft ready, answering all 12 fields of the conference's form."

What the draft includes

The conference's form

Each field appears with its number, its exact label, and a red asterisk if it is required. The draft:

  • Answers every text field in the order the form asks
  • Stays inside each word or character limit
  • Chooses an exact option for dropdowns, which you can change
  • Marks file uploads and checkboxes you need to handle in the form itself, such as "Upload this in the conference's form (use your headshot)"

Core proposal

Below the form you get a Title, Abstract, Learning objectives (one per line), a third-person Speaker bio, and a first-person Note to the organizer. You also get Why this fits and Customization notes for your own reference.

At the top, a line tells you whether the draft adapts one of your saved talks or proposes a new talk built for this event. Add talks in the Talks tab so the studio has more to draw on.

The draft is written in your voice from the facts in your profile and talk library. It never invents credentials, clients, or awards. If a claim matters to the organizer, make sure it is in your profile first.

Review and edit

  • Every box shows a live count, such as "182 words · 1,104 characters." The counter turns red when you go over the limit.
  • Click Copy under any box to copy that answer.
  • Click Copy all to copy the full proposal at once.
  • Click Save edits to keep your changes. The badge shows the version number.
  • Click Regenerate for a fresh draft, with new instructions if you like.

Submit it

Click Guided apply to walk through the conference's form one field at a time. See using Guided apply. If you already submitted on your own, click Mark submitted to add it to your Pipeline.

Troubleshooting

The heading says "We couldn't read this form automatically"

Your draft still covers the standard fields. To match the real form, share its link or paste it in. See when we can't read a form.

I hit my monthly draft limit

Each generated draft counts toward your plan's monthly allowance. Free includes 1, Basic 10, Growth 50, and Pro 200. See plans and billing.

The tone feels off

Add a line to Instructions for the AI, such as "warmer and more conversational" or "more formal for an academic audience," and click Regenerate.
