The Pipeline tab keeps every proposal you send in one place, from submission to the day you give the talk. It also shows what your speaking is worth.

How events get into your pipeline

  • Click I submitted it at the end of Guided apply.
  • Or click Mark submitted in the Proposal studio.

Either way, the event lands in your pipeline with the status Submitted and a follow-up date.

Your income dashboard

The top of the Pipeline tab shows:

  • Speaking income for the year, with a ring showing progress toward your goal
  • Fees in play, Acceptance rate, Submitted, and Accepted
  • A booked total in the top corner

To set a goal, enter an amount in Annual goal and click Save goal.

Update a pipeline card

  1. Find the event on the Pipeline tab.
  2. Choose a Status: Draft, Submitted, Accepted, Declined, Withdrawn, or Completed.
  3. Enter the agreed Speaker fee once you know it.
  4. Adjust Follow up on if you want a different reminder date.
  5. Add Notes, such as the organizer's name or session time.
  6. Click Save.

Record the fee as soon as you accept. Your income ring and booked total update right away, which makes planning the rest of your year easier.

Follow-ups

When you submit, we set a follow-up date automatically: 14 days from today, or 10 days after the call's deadline, whichever is later. Organizers rarely decide before the deadline, so this timing keeps you from nudging too early.

When a follow-up comes due, a follow-ups due box appears at the top of the Pipeline tab. Click Write follow-up to open a ready email.

Email templates

Click Email templates on any card. You get four templates, each filled in with the event, your proposal title, and your signature:

  • Submission note: a short thank-you right after you apply
  • Check-in: a polite follow-up while the organizer decides
  • Acceptance & logistics: questions about timing, A/V, audience, and travel
  • Post-event thank-you: a note after the talk that invites a return visit

Edit the subject and message, then click Copy email or Open in email app.

Share the win

When a card is Accepted or Completed, a Share the win button appears. It writes a short announcement post you can edit. Click Copy post, or Share on LinkedIn to post it there. Announcing talks helps other organizers see you in demand.
