Pipeline

One pipeline for every talk you pitch, book, and deliver

The Pipeline tab follows each proposal from the day you submit it to the day you give the talk, totals your speaking fees against an annual goal, and tells you when it is time to follow up.

The pipeline and follow-ups are included on every plan, Free too. No card required.

Your speaking business is spread across a dozen places

  • Submissions live in a spreadsheet, a few inbox threads and a sticky note, so you lose track of where you applied.
  • You check in with an organizer a week before their deadline, or a month after they already decided.
  • At the end of the year you dig through invoices just to learn what speaking earned you.
  • Every check-in email starts from a blank screen, and the post-event thank-you slips to next week.
  • An acceptance lands, you plan to announce it, and the moment passes.
What you get

A speaker pipeline that tracks talks, fees, and follow-ups together

Every event you submit to gets a card with its status, fee, follow-up date and notes, and the top of the tab shows what your speaking is worth this year.

01

Every submission in one place

Click I submitted it at the end of Guided Apply, or Mark submitted in Proposal Studio. The event joins your pipeline with the status Submitted and a follow-up date already set.

02

Clear statuses for each talk

Move each card through Draft, Submitted, Accepted, Declined, Withdrawn or Completed. Add the agreed speaker fee and notes such as the organizer's name or your session time.

03

Speaking income and an annual goal

Set an annual goal and a ring shows your speaking income for the year against it. Beside it you see fees in play, your acceptance rate, and how many talks are submitted and accepted.

04

Follow-up dates set for you

Each submission gets a follow-up date of 14 days out or 10 days after the call's deadline, whichever is later. When one comes due, it appears in a follow-ups due box at the top of the tab.

05

Four ready email templates

Submission note, Check-in, Acceptance & logistics, and Post-event thank-you, each filled in with the event, your proposal title and your signature. Edit, then copy it or open it in your email app.

06

Share the win

When a talk is accepted or completed, Share the win writes a short announcement you can edit, copy, or post to LinkedIn, so other organizers see you in demand.

How it works

How the speaker pipeline works

  1. 01

    Submit and mark it

Finish a proposal with Guided Apply and click I submitted it. The event lands on your Pipeline tab with a follow-up date.

  2. 02

    Update as you hear back

Change the status when the organizer replies, and record the fee as soon as you accept so your income ring and booked total update right away.

  3. 03

    Follow up on time

When a follow-up comes due, click Write follow-up to open a ready email. Adjust the Follow up on date any time you want a different reminder.

  4. 04

Announce it and keep the relationship

Use Share the win for the announcement, then send the Post-event thank-you after the talk to invite a return visit.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How do talks get into my pipeline?

Click I submitted it at the end of Guided Apply, or click Mark submitted in Proposal Studio. If you applied to a matched call outside Worth the Pitch, open the match, click Draft proposal, and click Mark submitted to add it.

How is the follow-up date chosen?

When you submit, the follow-up date is set to 14 days from that day or 10 days after the call's deadline, whichever is later. Organizers rarely decide before the deadline, so this timing keeps your check-in well placed. You can change the date on any card.

Does Worth the Pitch send the follow-up emails for me?

You send each one yourself. Click Write follow-up or Email templates, edit the subject and message, then click Copy email or Open in email app. Once your speaker page is published, the templates add its link to your signature.

How does the annual income goal work?

Enter an amount in Annual goal and click Save goal. The ring at the top of the Pipeline tab shows your speaking income for the year against that goal, and it updates as soon as you record a fee on a card.

What can I share when I land a talk?

When a card is Accepted or Completed, a Share the win button appears. It drafts a short announcement you can edit, then copy or post to LinkedIn.

Where do booking inquiries from my speaker page go?

Messages from the Invite to speak form on your speaker page arrive in the Inbox tab, with the organizer's email address so you can reply directly.
