Alerts, digests, and deadline reminders
Choose which emails you get, how strong a match must be to alert you, and when deadline reminders arrive.
Worth the Pitch emails you the calls that fit you best and reminds you before deadlines pass. You control all of it from the Settings tab.
What you can receive
- Daily match digest: a short email with your top new matches.
- Deadline reminders: a nudge before a matched call closes. The default schedule is 7, 3, and 1 day before the deadline.
- Priority alerts: included on the Growth and Pro plans, so strong fits reach you sooner.
Set up your notifications
- Open the Settings tab.
- In the Notifications card, tick the emails you want:
- Email notifications (the main switch for email)
- Daily match digest
- Deadline reminders
- Enter a number from 0 to 100 in Alert me for scores of at least. Digests and alerts include only calls at or above this fit score.
- In Reminder days before deadline, enter the days you want, separated by commas. For example: 7, 3, 1 or 10, 5, 2.
- Click Save settings.
Set your alert score a little higher than your Minimum match score. For example, show matches from 65 on your dashboard and email only 75 and up. You browse widely on your dashboard and your inbox stays focused.
How the alert score and the match score differ
You have two thresholds, and each has its own job:

How fresh are the matches in my digest?
Matches refresh every 6 hours in the background and right after you change your profile. Your digest pulls from those results. Expired calls are hidden automatically, so the digest only lists calls that are still open.
Dashboard reminders
Email is one layer. Your Worth the Pitch dashboard also gives you:
- The Apply this week board on the Matches tab, listing calls that close in the next 14 days. See Apply this week and Draft my top 3.

Troubleshooting
I stopped getting emails
- Check that Email notifications is ticked in Settings.
- Look in your spam or promotions folder and mark our email as safe.
- Confirm your email address is verified. The yellow banner at the top of the app appears if it is pending.
My digest is empty some days
The digest only includes calls at or above your alert score. On quiet days nothing new may clear the bar. Lower the number in Alert me for scores of at least if you want more.
I only want deadline reminders
Leave Email notifications and Deadline reminders ticked, untick Daily match digest, and click Save settings.
