Submit faster with Guided apply
Walk through the conference's form one field at a time, copying each answer, then log the submission in your Pipeline.
Guided apply turns your draft into a short checklist so you can fill in the conference's form quickly and without missing a field. You stay in control and press submit yourself on the conference's site.
Before you start
- Generate a draft in the Proposal studio. The Guided apply button appears once a draft exists. See drafting proposals.
- Read the draft once and fix anything that needs your personal touch.
- Upload a headshot on the Profile tab if you have not yet. Many forms ask for one.
Walk through the form
- In the Proposal studio, click Guided apply. You can also click Apply now on a Draft ready row of the Apply this week board.
- Open the application. Click Open the form. The conference's form opens in a new tab. Keep it side by side with Worth the Pitch.
- Copy each field. Each step shows the field's label, its limit, and your answer. Click Copy & next, switch to the form, and paste. The next step opens automatically.
- Handle uploads. For a photo field, click Download headshot, upload the file in the form, then click Done.
- Submit and track it. Press submit on the conference's form. Then return and click I submitted it.
The eyebrow at the top counts your progress, for example "Guided apply · 4 of 9 steps done," and the bar fills as you go.
If a step shows "(empty: write this one yourself)," the form asked something your profile could not answer. Type that answer directly in the conference's form.
What happens after you click I submitted it
- The event moves to your Pipeline with the status Submitted.
- A follow-up reminder is set for 14 days out, or 10 days after the deadline if that is later.
- A message confirms the date, such as "Submitted! We'll remind you to follow up on Oct 12."

Need to stop partway?
On the last step, click Not yet, save for later. Your draft waits for you on the Apply this week board. You can also close the dialog at any point and reopen it from the Proposal studio.
When the form had no fields we could read
Guided apply still works. It walks you through the standard pieces: Session title, Abstract, Learning objectives, and Speaker bio, plus your headshot. For a field-by-field match, share the form first. See when we can't read a form.
Troubleshooting
"Copy failed. Select the text and copy it."
Your browser blocked clipboard access. Select the answer text, press Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on a Mac), and paste as usual.
The form asks me to sign in first
For portals, the first step says so. Create or sign in to your account there, then come back and continue.
I clicked I submitted it by mistake
Open the Pipeline tab, change the status on that card, and click Save.
